Playmobil® or the Garden Wargaming staff. |

The first thing you'll need is a small
vise with soft plastic covers over its steel jaws. This is a
fairly common vise made especially for hobbyists and can be
found in most craft stores as well as on the
internet: |

You will also need a small flat bladed screwdriver with a medium to long shank. (The shank is the metal rod between the handle and the blade.) |
The third thing that you'll need is a "leg-tool." Find a metal dowel (an old allen wrench or a worn out drill will do nicely.) Then locate an old pair of Playmobil legs that you really don't want anymore (maybe a foot is broken or the color is faded or whatever). |
Drill a hole from one side of the legs (about halfway between the hip and knees). The hole should be small enough to hold the metal dowel tightly. (If you have to gently tap the metal dowel to make it go through the legs, then the hole is just the right size.) The metal dowel needs to extend out far enough for you to be able to comfortably grasp it on both sides with your second and third fingers. |
